Sample Drop Off Locations

We understand that convenience matters, which is why—in addition to our office locations—we’ve partnered with local businesses to offer accessible drop box sites. These locations provide a flexible option for sample drop-off, allowing you to choose the spot that best fits your schedule and routine. You can view all office and drop box locations on the map below to find the one that’s most convenient for you.

How Drop Offs Work

Your drop-off must include the chain of custody form and sample in a sample bag. The chain of custody is a form available at the drop box that we require to process your sample accurately.

Most locations have sample bags provided. However, we recommend bringing your own sealable sample bag (like a Ziploc bag) for a secure and contamination-free submission.

Payment for testing services can only be made at Atlas Labs, Inc. locations, either by calling in or walking in. Payment cannot be processed at the drop box locations.

To submit your asbestos and lead samples for testing, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Label Sample Bag(s)

Label each sample bag with the corresponding sample numbers and material descriptions. Make sure that the labels are clear, legible, and securely attached to the sample bags.

Step 2: Complete Chain of Custody Form

Fill out the chain of custody form completely, including:

Date and time
Project/location details
Email address
Phone number
Signature

Step 3: Place Sample Bag(s) & Chain of Custody in a Large Sealable Plastic Bag

Place the labeled sample bag(s) and the completed chain of custody form inside a larger sealable plastic bag (like a Ziploc bag). Make sure that the larger bag is properly sealed to prevent any contamination or loss of samples during the drop off process.
